T7PRA (Wireless):
Hypercom has designed a new cellular terminal which has many of the same features and benefits of the T7 family line of products. It functions in much the same way as the T7P but with the added benefit of the machine being wireless for mobile operations. Merchants can process transactions from virtually anywhere with this machine. Ideally, merchants with mobile delivery services such as a pizza delivery business, taxi and other car transportation services or a weekend event will find that the T7PRA is their choice of wireless terminal. This is a very high quality and robust machine from Hypercom and offer the flexibility and wireless POS terminal that merchants of all size need.
T7PRC (Wireless):
Much like the wireless T7PRA, the T7PRC offers many of the same features and functionality that merchants come to expect out of any product Hypercom designs. The T7PRC utilizes what called Cellular Digital Packet Data Technology (CDPD). And all that really means is how the data is delivered and returned when merchants run a transaction using the credit card machine. With an added external antenna for better reception and connectivity, it improves signal coverage even in places that signal reception is not all that good. The machine is very compact and nice looking piece of equipment that will not coast small businesses a lot of money to purchase or lease one.
Having been equipped with all of the features and functionality of the T7P, the wireless operations is a much needed convenience for small businesses that operate from the field. Additionally, the T7PRC come with a built in or integrated printer. The T7PRC can process debit/check cards, credit cards, ETB, checks and check guarantee (check draft capture), and any sort of gift card/customer loyalty program that businesses like.
A very compact design with easy to utilize keys designed for merchants who need one-touch functions. There are 35 keys that are preprogrammed to give merchants the benefit and functions of single stroke activation to simplify the day to day operations of a business thus saving merchants time as well as the time it takes the customers to wait. The Cellular Digital Packet Data is becoming the new thing when it comes to wireless connectivity. Being that this is a very new technology, it is quickly becoming the fast choice of many companies who design wireless Point of Sales Terminals to transmit data. CDPD is currently changing the wireless transmission infrastructure because it allows for fast and reliable call access which is different from normal cell phone traffic or signal and does not compete with cell phone data transmission traffic.
CDPD connectivity is a very affordable way for merchant to operation their wireless business and this new technology utilizes data transmission that is secure, fast and reliable allowing for data to be encrypted while being transmitted. The other nice thing about Hypercom new CDPD technology is that you are not stuck with one carrier for your wireless connectivity on the mobile data market because the intercarrier agreement will allow for multiple carrier to service the signal allowing for wide coverage from multiple networks. All of the same features from the Hypercom T7P or T7 Plus are available with the wireless T7PRC.
T7PT:
The Hypercom T7PT is much the same as what has been described above such as an integrated terminal and uses thermal printing technology so no ink is needed or better yet, merchants never have to run out to but ink. Like most of the devices Hypercom designs, this one has a very small footprint and save merchant a lot of counter space so businesses can focus on more important things and pay their customers the attention they deserve.
The Hypercom T7PT integrated terminal and thermal printer hosts an attractive list of features to guide your customer transactions. The small footprint saves you precious counter space. The 35-key keyboard features single stroke activation for check, debit, void, refund, and many other functions.
